Triumph
From glamorous Godiva to exotic Isis, discover the faces of Eve in a timeless tale of seduction. Sexy and uninhibited, this show salutes the designs of 24 statement lingerie pieces with exotic gems from Lee Hwa Jewellery. A stunning diamond thong will be the dazzling highlight of the show.

How is a girl supposed to walk elegantly in a diamond encrusted thong? Even if the sparklers don’t scratch, the apprehension at wearing $168,000 worth of Lee Hwa gemstones - albeit hidden - will make a girl nervous.

But that’s exactly what Triumph will be showing at the Singapore Fashion Festival as part of its Viva La Eve show, which aims to “present the many faces of Eve in a timeless tale of seduction”.

With exotic flowers, birds of paradise and even “mystical pythons”, just the setting of the show promises to be a spectacle. Not that it will distract from the lingerie itself, presented as different faces of women.

There will be Lady Godiva, who rode naked through the streets of Coventry in England 1,000 years ago, covered only by her long hair. She will be represented in a lingerie collection in girlish shades of white and pastel pinks and blues.

Triumph Lingerie Spring/Summer 2008

With exquisite styling, enchanting fabrics and the most delicate of colours, Triumph creates a lingerie collection for spring ‘08 that will appeal to the heart and enhance the curves of every discerning woman.

The collection unfolds with soft laces, embroideries and jacquards sitting alongside plainer and more sculptured shapes.

Ornate and richly textured embroideries and laces appear on the lightest of transparent nets for a sophisticated and seductive look. Supple padding, flexible under-wiring and clever seams gently support and contour, even for big cups. In fact, most of the new bras go right up to F cup (Luxury Desire, Lacy Desire, Lovely Passion).

Seamless cup designs that gently smooth the body have sensuous second skin appeal. Soft and Nude with its clean, puristic lines incorporating flat and selvedge edges is almost undetectable under clothing.

Lending a soft, almost vintage effect to the season are gentle vanilla, apricot, rose and café latte tones with silver as a subtle contrast. And looking fresh, crisp and modern in the glossy new textures is classic white. Decorative straps, cleavage detail, pretty bows and delicate metallic trims are dainty touches. Matching briefs favour a deep square cut or high-leg.
