Singer Usher kicked off the Victoria’s Secret show Saturday, which featured 35 supermodels, some wearing angel wings. Models including Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima strutted down the runway at the newly renovated Fontainebleau Miami Beach during the show, which coincided with the opulent reopening of the hotel.

Led by one of the top British retail and high street geniuses, Victoria’s Secret is about to expand and get even better, says Hilary Alexander
It is no secret that Victoria’s Secret is one of the most successful - and sexy - lingerie brands in the world. It is renowned for its star-studded roster of supermodels, known as ‘Angels’ - Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Laetitia Costa, Helena Christensen and Karolina Kurkova among them.
What is less well-known is that the head of the design team is a British retail and high street genius.
Victoria’s Secret has revealed that Doutzen Kroes is their new angel, joining the ranks of Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, and past angels such as Gisele Bundchen and Tyra Banks. The 23-year-old model is originally from the Netherlands, and has modeled for Calvin Klein, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana. She has also appeared on the covers of Time, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Numero. Her first official Victoria’s Secret campaign, Supermodel Obsessions, was recently launched at the company’s flagship store in New York.
